Grad Talk: Dealing with Awkward Situations at Grad School

Have you ever walked away from a conversation wondering, "What just happened?" Ever seen a professor outside of class and, unsure of whether to make eye contact or not, marched past them while staring at the ground? Have you attended a large social gathering outside your department and found yourself in a corner not knowing where to start? Grad school can be full of awkward and potentially embarrassing moments. Join G2G Peer Advisors from the Conflict Resolution Centre for Graduate Students for a frank discussion about conflicting expectations, miscommunication, and the blurry boundary between social and professional. Pizza will be available.
