Adventure to World Press Photo Exhibit & Social

Come join CIE this October 17th for an evening of exploration and conversation at the World Press Photo Exhibit!  The show is in the Allen Lambert Galleria (BCE Place), sometimes described as the "crystal cathedral of commerce."  The atrium space was designed by Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava.

We'll tour the exhibit of prize-winning, world renowned photographs, then go to a nearby cafe for snacks and some time to talk about what we liked. The selected photos are all winners and runner ups in their field of photojournalism (sports action, contemporary issues, portraiture, etc). All photos in the free exhibit are striking; taken to tell stories and translate experiences.  Each photo in the exhibit will raise as many questions as it can answer.

Open to international, exchange, and domestic students.  A great way to meet others, discover Toronto, and to take a break from academics!

Important Details:

-We will meet at 5pm at CIE (Cumberland House, 33 St. George Street); the group will depart 10 min. after that so please be on time. The event will end approximately 7:30pm.

-We will need to take the TTC subway (please be prepared by bringing your own TTC fare or cash).  It is not a far travel.   Info on TTC prices:
