Grad Escape: Thomas Fisher Library Tour Have you ever held a book that’s over 400 years old? Or seen the U of T’s founding document? Or read Leonard Cohen’s notebooks from the 1960s, where he drafted some of his early songs? What about the math used by U of T professors to rescue the Apollo 13 mission? Come to the Thomas Fisher Rare Book Library, one of the most beautiful and inspirational indoor spaces on campus! Meet staff from the Department of Rare Books and Special Collections and the University Archives, where they will take you on a tour of some of the rich treasures held right here on campus. Come for the view and the stories and discover how you can incorporate this one-of-a-kind research material into your own academic work.
